job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCurrent providers : 4 Physicians and 5 APPs Competitive compensation and benefits package Experienced staff Onsite services (CT, MRI, x-ray, lab, etc.) Level 4 Trauma Center Life Flight 24 / 7 Cardiac Cath Services 24 / 7 Hospitalist Program 24 / 7 Hospital Duties include responding to in-house cardiac / respiratory arrests, including peds and OB / nursery No Call Flexible Scheduling Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination New fully equipped Emergency Department Responsibilities : Twelve 12 hour shifts per month Clinical Shift Hours = 7 : 30a 7 : 30p, 7 : 30p 7 : 30a Department Staffing Model : Tuesday - Friday = 1 Physician & 1 APP (11 : 30a - 9 : 30p) Saturday - Monday = 1 Physician & 2 APP's (10a - 8p & 2p - 12a) Average # of patients / day = 60 Annual visit volume = 20,000 Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills Improve the health of the people and communities we serve Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (must become board certified within 5 years) Eligible to work in the United States Hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Ability to work as a team member and leader
