Wildlife Health Communication Specialist

Job Description :

We are seeking an innovative, creative, and reliable Wildlife Communications Specialist to assist our client with Wildlife Health Communication. This is a grant funded position for up to three years.

LOCATION : 1 Sportsman's Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601

Duties Include but Are Not Limited To :

• Update the wildlife health communications plan as necessary.
• Developing wildlife health-related communications for public outreach. This could include news releases, video scripts, brochures, newsletters, e-blasts and graphics.
• Updating our client's public facing Wildlife Health webpages with relevant and easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences.
• Maintain regional network of state and federal partners to share information about disease risk, surveillance efforts, zoonotic disease outbreaks, and regional preparedness.
• Project management and education campaign design for One Health Initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
