Job Summary :

Responsible for explosives inventory and magazines. Enforces the rules and regulations governing safety

handling and control measures. Enforces a sense of “zero errors, zero tolerance” when it comes to

explosives bunker security and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain lock and key security – inspect all key lock boxes and magazines daily
  • Confirm each bunker is secured at beginning and end of each workday
  • Maintain accurate magazine log inventories and monitor / control SAP inventory integrity
  • Match / reconcile magazine log entries to SAP entries
  • General bunker housekeeping – ensure each bunker is orderly and swept free of debris
  • Report any bunker deficiencies to supervisor immediately
  • Operate forklift and truck equipment to position products within the warehouse, and move between

stock locations and load / unload explosives in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Perform receiving of explosive materials
  • Record data as required for all stock transfers, receipts and shipments
  • Maintain product identification and location program
  • Validate data for quantities of materials to be issued and transferred between stock locations
  • Perform cycle counts as scheduled or requested by Supervisor
  • Research inventory discrepancies and report to Supervisor
  • Ensure all materials are labeled with SAP material number, quantity and batch code if required
  • Coordinate and integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy
  • Prepare and participate in physical inventory when needed
  • Other responsibilities as required
  • Qualifications :

    Education and / or Experience

  • High School Education, GED or equivalent
  • 0-2 years’ experience in shipping / receiving and inventory control
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
  • Experience with FEDEX online software is desirable
  • Ability to interpret packing slips, enter correct information into computer systems, and
  • acknowledge receipt of the goods

  • Some knowledge of inventory control and practices
  • Extremely detail oriented with numbers and data entry

    include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
