Basic Function :
The purpose of Project Manager (PM) position is to manage capital projects as assigned in accordance with organization policies and standards. The incumbent will ensure project goals and timelines are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner, oversee vendor performance, and serve as the primary liaison to partner entities. The incumbent will assess project issues and identify solutions to meet performance goals. The PM is responsible for maintaining all project records and information, and informing relevant leadership and stakeholders of necessary updates in a clear and timely manner. The PM is also responsible for managing any necessary administrative work including budgetary oversight, in partnership with relevant REDCAM and University administrative offices, to ensure the successful completion of a project. The PM will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of multiple projects across the REDCAM portfolio.
Supervisory Accountability :
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects, and is therefore expected to ensure all contributing parties are remaining on task, on time, and on budget. The PM does not have any direct supervisory reports.
Nature and Scope :
The PM ensures that capital projects are completed on time, on budget, and to a high degree of quality; that all stakeholders are kept properly informed throughout the course of a project; that project plans and budgets are developed and subsequently adjusted, as needed, to meet the needs of the University and the limits of the project's resources; and that the capital project is smoothly transitioned to normal operations once complete and ready for full user occupancy. The PM will be an important and active member of the REDCAM team, communicating with office leadership and colleagues in order to help deconflict and otherwise coordinate multiple projects across the University, and contribute to the overall successful execution of the University's Master Plan and capital improvement goals.

Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree and 5-10 years of related work experience. 12 years of related work experience may be substituted in lieu of educational qualifications. Experience in academic and / or health care capital project management strongly preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certified. 30-hour OSHA certified.
Compliance Salary Range Disclosure Expected Pay Range : $127,273 - $140,000
