Contract Administrator

The primary responsibilities of the Contract Administrator are to receive and review contracts, liaison between Sales & Legal teams and supporting the other members of the Finance team.

Location specifics :

  • Potential to become hybrid.
  • Ability to work onsite a few days a week (as needed) preferred.
  • On-site location possibilities are West Sacramento, Livermore, or Manteca (Northern California).

Essential functions :

  • This is a regional Shared Services position.
  • Review all contracts and payment schedules received from Builders and Sales, compare to internal bids for accuracy.
  • Prepare documents to submit to Legal department for review, revision, and final execution.
  • Secure certificates of insurance and business licenses as needed.
  • Maintain records of Subcontractor insurance.
  • Assist with daily Shared Services Department reporting as needed and during month end process.
  • Competencies :

  • Two-year certificate from college or technical school in business related field
  • Construction experience helpful
  • Strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite and an ability to leverage technology in work processes.
  • Attention to detail and aptitude in working with numbers including mathematical calculations involving percentages, fractions, and decimals.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and effectively act on information gained from standard financial documentation.
  • High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to processing timelines through effective communication with other departments and locations combined with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner. Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others.
  • Salary Range - $24.00 - $26.00 hourly
