Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

ER RN - Night shift in Missouri Valley, IA

Department : MedSurg / Swing.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Beds : 14.

Ratios : 1 : 5-6.

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : CHF, pneumonia, skilled patients for PT / OT, ATB / This is a MedSurg floor with no consultation services.

At times will admit cardiac or diabetic Progressive Care level patients.

Weekend Requirement : At least every third weekend.

Holiday Requirement : Will rotate with core staff where there is a need.

Floating Requirements : To ED for support.

Scrub Color / Dress Code / Scrubs provided? : Navy Blue.

How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? 2 shifts.

Are RNs required to titrate drips? : No.

Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Antibiotics.

Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Yes.

Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Yes, 1 : 10.

Shifts & Scheduling : 630-7 / manager will do schedule.

ER RN - Night shift in Missouri Valley, IA

Department : Med Surg / Swing. - Float to ED for support.

Certifications : BLS, ACLS.
