Job Description

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with the GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels, and directing drivers for timely delivery. Full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Support daily supervision of team members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
  • Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM for driver coverage

  • Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostics
  • Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)
  • Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
  • Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
  • Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends
  • Prior Experience

    Minimum 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred. Proven sales and team leadership experience.

    Education

    High school diploma or GED required.

    Certificates

    ASE certification preferred but not required.

    Physical Demands

    Mostly walking or standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, with vision requirements.

    Work Environment

    Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure to weather, mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. Moderate noise level.

    Position eligible for sales commissions. Compensation : $18.15 - $19.96 / hour.
