They are actively seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead out their Preconstruction Division in their Charlotte office.

Job Description

The Senior Preconstruction Manager plays a critical leadership role in the early stages of the project lifecycle. From concept through design development, this role oversees estimating, value engineering, bid strategy, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and passionate about building better outcomes-before construction even begins. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead all preconstruction efforts for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery
• Collaborate directly with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to align scope, schedule, and budget
• Prepare and present conceptual budgets and detailed estimates at progressive design milestones
• Oversee bid solicitations, subcontractor qualification, scope reviews, and final buyout recommendations
• Propose value engineering and constructability enhancements to maximize budget efficiency and project success
• Mentor and support junior staff, promoting team development and preconstruction best practices
