Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Natural Resources Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on natural resource management and conservation. As a Natural Resources Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of projects that promote sustainable use of land, water, and other natural resources.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify potential natural resource management and conservation projects
- Develop detailed project plans, including cost estimates and timelines
- Design and oversee the implementation of projects related to land use planning, water resource management, habitat restoration, and other natural resource initiatives
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed project designs and plans
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and team members
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in natural resource management and conservation
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in natural resource management and conservationStrong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processesExperience with computer-aided design (CAD) softwareExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel to project sites as neededBenefits :
