Wellsdale by Commonwise Home Care is growing in Charleston, SC, and we're looking for an Operations Manager who's passionate about people. This role is vital to our local team ensuring that every client receives reliable, high-quality care and every Caregiver has the support, communication, and resources they need to succeed. You'll be at the center of it all, driving excellence through exceptional recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What You'll Do
As the Home Care Operations Manager, you will :
- Lead day-to-day operations with a focus on staffing, scheduling, and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, interview, and hire compassionate caregivers who represent the Wellsdale standard of care.
- Build and maintain caregiver schedules that balance client needs, staff availability, and efficiency.
- Assist in reviewing payroll and billing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and ensure compliance with company and state guidelines.
- Perform regular caregiver check-ins and evaluations to maintain service quality.
- Partner closely with the Community Care Manager to ensure seamless communication between caregivers, clients, and families.
- Analyze scheduling trends, anticipate staffing needs, and develop creative recruitment solutions.
- Drive initiatives that improve employee retention, recognition, and satisfaction.
