IT Project Manager (Senior)
The Red Gate Group is seeking an IT Project Manager (Senior) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, DC. This position supports CIO-6, which manages and operates JWICS. The role will contribute to the JWICS Modernization initiative by providing senior-level program and project management engineering and technical support, ensuring successful execution of IT projects across multiple functional areas.
Responsibilities include :
- Accountable for all project management artifacts, for a select number of projects, including but not limited to project plans, scoping documents, weekly status updates and the weekly team meeting agenda
- Leading all relevant program & project team meetings in coordination with stakeholders
- Driving process improvements and technology solutions that enhance team productivity and effectiveness
- Reviewing possible improvement actions to enhance team performance, and ensuring quality and consistency of team execution against targeted project initiatives
- Anticipating internal and / or external business challenges and resistance and recommending solutions
- Overseeing the development and execution of projects from original concept through implementation and final conclusion
- Preparing and refining detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Qualifications :
Active TS / SCI (CI Poly preferred)Demonstrate ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasksDemonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulate key findingsDemonstrate ability to work independently and with minimal oversightMinimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 yearsMaster's degree in an area related to the labor category from an accredited institution OR Bachelor's degree + an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 13 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree
