UI / UX Designer Job at WSP in the U.S. in Chicago

Overview

WSP is initiating a search for a full-time UI / UX Web Designer , located near any WSP US office. As part of the Visualization and Data Intelligence practice, you will collaborate with project managers, front-end application developers and software engineers by providing accessible-compliant and responsive UI / UX design nationally, helping to advance and enhance the quality of WSP client deliverables.

Our successful candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and is a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The candidate will not only design UI / UX concepts for a variety of online web applications but will also be able to consult on applications’ overall user journey and experience, ensuring the product is intuitive and enjoyable to use.

The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and finding solutions to creatively advance online applications for WSP clients. They will exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Your Impact

• Support UI / UX design strategy and implementation on a variety of online and mobile applications.
• Create polished, professional, high-quality UI / UX design that meet industry standards for responsive design and accessibility compliance.
• Work with a variety of technical staff and project teams.
• Actively pursue research to remain current with industry trends and best practices.
• Adhere to project schedules and budgets and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation : Expected Salary : $80,000-$95,000
