The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
The representative is to service the needs of our customers by accurately billing customer accounts, assuring timely remittance, and taking immediate action on issues that involve account integrity. The representative will also follow-up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
Job Duties :
Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to practice proper phone and email etiquetteAbility to read, understand and follow oral and written instructionsAnswers questions from customers, clerical staff, and insurance companiesIdentifies and resolves patient billing complaintsHandles customer collection callsFamiliar with medical terminology and insurances HCPC / ICD-9 codesDocuments activities in ERP system in an efficient accurate and timely mannerEnsures the billing activity is handled correctlyAbility to evaluate and secure the needed Rx's, PA's and medical justification to facilitate payment of claims for initial and review / appeals paymentsAbility to edit and resubmit claims for paymentPrepares and reviews clean claims for submission to various insurances either electronically or by paperWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and OutlookProvide feedback to Group Team Lead regarding issues regarding accountsConducts routine tasks as directed; works under clearly defined guidelinesContributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directedRequirements :
