Location : Salt Lake City, Utah (Onsite – must be able to commute daily)

About the Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, industry-leading manufacturing company in the Salt Lake City area seeking a highly skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist Programmer . This role is specifically geared toward candidates with extensive experience programming and operating large CNC machines .

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate large 5-Axis CNC mill-turn centers / multi-axis lathes to produce complex, high-precision components.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam (advanced-level proficiency required).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Select tools, materials, and cutting parameters to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency on large-format machines .
• Troubleshoot machining processes, resolve production issues, and continuously improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and top-quality results.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
