DDS Administrative Office Support
Join our team! We're hiring five Administrative Office Support professionals to provide vital clerical and administrative support in a mission-driven environment.
This part-time role is perfect for individuals who enjoy keeping things organized and assisting others. The ideal candidates will provide a wide range of clerical and administrative support to ensure daily operations are handled efficiently, accurately, and timely. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes being at the center of operations, is comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities, and is looking for exposure to a variety of office functions, providing experience that can help build a long-term career path.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide receptionist telephone coverage by assisting callers with general inquiries, redirecting calls to staff and annotating the case worksheet display with actions taken.
- Providing front desk coverage by greeting all visitors and ensuring they have warranted business purposes before granting access to the office.
- Ensuring visitor's log is correctly maintained.
- Maintaining sensitivity and professionalism during interactions with internal and external customers.
- Performing timely actions on tasks with no significant delays.
- Providing general office support.
- Promptly requesting, obtaining, and / or documenting functional, medical, and vocational information related to disability claims from medical and non-medical sources.
- Attending ongoing training and meetings as deemed necessary and may be cross trained in other functional areas of the office such as validation, on site scanning, filing, mailroom duties, performing follow-up / other phone calls, CD processing, vendor file, and tasks related to consultative examinations.
Other duties and / or special projects as assigned.
Completes duties and / or projects as needed or directed by supervisor.
Locations : Richmond, Fairfax, Norfolk, or Roanoke.
Minimum Qualifications :
Able to work between 20 30 hours per week.Flexibility of hours and schedule is at the discretion of the supervisor and office and may be dependent on needs.During mandatory training, may be required to report / work during specific hours.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to accurately interpret and apply position related policy and procedures including HIPAA.Ability to organize / prioritize work and make independent decisions.Ability to work cooperatively with staff to ensure timely and accurate task completion.Excellent verbal and communication skills.Proficient in the use of PC and position related software applications.Additional Considerations :
