As an Executive Meeting Manager, your primary responsibility is to proactively seek and secure group and catering opportunities that contribute to meaningful revenue growth. This role emphasizes not only generating new business but also nurturing strong client relationships while serving as the key liaison during their events. You'll ensure smooth coordination between departments, maintain consistent communication, and deliver exceptional service at every stage of the customer journeybuilding loyalty and leaving lasting impressions.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Proactive sales & business development : Identify, qualify, and solicit new group and catering business opportunities.
  • Client relations & service : Serve as the customer's main point of contact during events and programs.
  • Event coordination & turnover : Provide seamless turnover of business to Event Management and Operations teams.
  • Customer experience excellence : Understand customer preferences and recommend tailored services.
  • Negotiation & contracts : Skillfully negotiate hotel services and execute Group Sales Agreements.
  • Market knowledge & strategy : Stay current on competitor activities, market trends, and supply-demand conditions.
  • Community & industry engagement : Build strong ties in the community and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Sales process mastery : Utilize Marriott Global Source and eTools to streamline processes.
  • Site inspections & presentations : Conduct professional site visits to highlight the hotel's offerings.
  • Feedback & continuous improvement : Gather and act on guest and planner feedback.
  • Leadership & brand representation : Model exceptional hospitality standards.

Education & experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Previous hospitality sales or catering / group sales experience strongly preferred.
