1 Resource Group is currently looking for a skilled Medium Mechanic to join our reputable client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and inspections on medium-duty vehicles and equipment in Raleigh, NC. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the vehicles are safe and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on medium-duty equipment.
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
  • Repairing and replacing worn or damaged parts to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Collaborating with other mechanics and service staff to ensure high-quality service.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and technologies related to medium-duty vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a vocational program in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a medium mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of medium-duty vehicle systems and components, including hydraulics.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must have Osha 10 or be willing to get your OSHA 10

    • $28.00 hr
