Role Description
Travis Club is seeking an experienced Architecture Design Review Manager to lead the design review process of this beautiful new golf community. This position will responsible for consistently providing outstanding customer service and serving as lead for each part of the Design Review process. More specifically, the Design Review Manager educates Owners, Architects and General Contractors on the Design Guidelines and Association submittal process, oversees preparation of agendas for the weekly Design Review Committee (DRC) Meetings, and oversees approved / not approved letters for all submittals and inspections as required. The Design Review Manager oversees the scheduling of meetings (both in person and electronically), the documentation of accurate records of Homeowner communication and submittals in electronic systems, and reporting on the status of homes in Design, Construction and Completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to Association policies and procedures, and compliance with corporate, civil code, and state and federal obligations.
- Follows the proper Design Review procedures as outlined in the Association’s Governing
- Documents (Design Guidelines), department’s procedures, and as otherwise directed.
- Interacts with homeowners regarding Design Guidelines, exterior home and landscape modification inquiries, application results, and the Design Review processes.
- Fosters a positive and professional relationship with DRC members, Architects, consultants, residents, and General Contractors.
- Oversees the maintaining of accurate and complete records and documentation, tracking, and updating Design Review requests and correspondence.
- Conducts follow-up on application status or other items as needed.
- Ensures all design review plan submittals are processed within the legal timeframe.
- Oversees the scheduling of DRC meeting dates with Homeowners, vendors, and the DRC in a timely manner, as needed.
- Reviews and approves DRC meeting agendas and minutes.
- Utilizes technology as applicable to perform job functions.
- Reports any safety or hazardous items immediately to supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position oversees the Design Review Coordinator Position.

Proficient with Dropbox and Zoom.A 4-year professional degree in Architecture or Construction Administration is desired but a commensurate level of employment experience may be considered. Experience in Design or Construction, or a closely related field preferred.2 years’ customer service experience preferred.
