About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in specialty

License : Valid State Nursing License

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Description :

Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.

Includes direct patient care, patient / family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area.

Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family or support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communication.

Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Travelers may float to other locations if the census is low on the home unit.

Modules may be required and are completed during orientation.
