Adjunct, Mathematics

OVERVIEW

The Department of Mathematics at the University of St. Thomas is looking for adjunct faculty members to teach lower-level mathematics for upcoming semesters (fall / spring / summer). These courses include Basic Math Skills, Math Sampler, Finite Mathematics, Calculus with Review I and II, Business Calculus, and Calculus I. There are also opportunities to occasionally lead directed studies of 2-credit lower-level math courses. All courses are taught in-person on the St. Paul campus of the University of St. Thomas.

The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,876 to $6,585 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications for the position include a Master's degree in mathematics or a related area and previous teaching experience.
