Delivery Solutions Architect role at Databricks.
As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA), you will collaborate with our sales and field engineering teams to accelerate adoption of the Databricks platform across complex customers. You will drive growth and be the post‑sale technical lead across all Databricks products, engaging stakeholders at all levels and ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities
- Engage with Solutions Architects to understand and prioritize customer use cases.
- Lead the post‑technical win technical account strategy and execution plan for major use cases in strategic accounts.
- Be the accountable technical leader for specific use cases and customers across multiple teams, driving onboarding, enablement, go‑live and healthy consumption.
- Act as the first contact for any production or go‑live technical issues, often across large, complex organizations.
- Leverage Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding / Technical Services, Support and expert‑level technical experts to resolve tasks beyond your scope.
- Create and execute a point of view on how key use cases can move into production, coordinating with Professional Services for proposal delivery.
- Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, previews and upgrade needs.
Develop an execution plan covering :
Main use cases transitioning from “win” to production.Enablement / user growth plan.Product adoption strategy to increase adoption of Databricks’s Lakehouse vision.Control costs, tuning and optimization for existing investment.Executive and operational governance.Provide internal and external updates—KPI reporting on usage, customer health, investment status, risks and use‑case progression—to your Technical GM.Qualifications
5+ years of experience accountable for technical project / program delivery in Data and AI domain with strong design and debate contributions.Programming experience in Python, SQL or Scala.Experience in a customer‑facing pre‑sales, technical architecture, customer success or consulting role.Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.Ability to attribute business value to project deliverables.Technical program or project management skills, including stakeholder and resource management.Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and managing delivery of complex programs.Track record of overachievement against quota or similar objective targets.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.Willingness to travel up to 30% when needed.Pay Range
Zone 1‑4 : $161,300 – $225,800 USD (base salary). Eligible for performance bonus, equity and benefits.
