Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of a large facility with 250,000 square feet of refrigeration systems. You will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventative and predictive maintenance, and supervise a team of 10 to 15 maintenance technicians. Your role will also involve maintaining detailed records of repairs, recommending and implementing energy-efficient improvements, and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, including refrigeration systems, faulty wiring, motors, sensors, and PLCs.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Supervise a team of 10 to 15 maintenance technicians.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Recommend and implement improvements for energy efficiency, reliability, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics.

Work Environment

The position requires working in cold temperatures, with refrigeration equipment set at negative 15 degrees. The role follows a first shift schedule from 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm, with an on-call rotational schedule that may require weekend maintenance duties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waterloo, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00 / yr.
