Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Driller with expertise in Dual Rotary (DR) operations to join our client's team for projects across Florida. The role involves drilling large-diameter wells and casings for water supply, dewatering, and foundation applications in a high water-table, karst limestone environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain Dual Rotary drilling rigs (e.g., Foremost DR series) safely and efficiently.
- Drill and install casings for water wells, dewatering wells, and foundation piles.
- Monitor drilling parameters and adjust methods to suit ground conditions (sand, gravel, limestone).
- Oversee drill crew activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (OSHA, EPA, state water regulations).
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment.
- Record drilling data, including depths, formations, and casing installation details.
- Coordinate with project managers, geologists, and engineers on-site.
Requirements
Proven experience as a driller, ideally with Dual Rotary or large-diameter rotary rigs.Knowledge of Florida ground conditions, high water tables, and state permitting for wells.Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Safety-conscious with a clean record; ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.Benefits
