As a Security Professional - Logistics Access Control in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to support a secure atmosphere. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with access-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals during evacuations and / or other urgent situations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
