The Registered Occupational Therapist provides evaluation and treatment for individuals with physical disorders that limit their ability to perform daily activities. This role requires adherence to privacy regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI) and maintaining professional communication with patients, healthcare teams, and external agencies.
Essential Responsibilities :
General Responsibilities : Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education : Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
Licenses and Certifications : Current Occupational Therapy licensure through the appropriate state board, BLS / CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever is sooner. Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state requirements if driving is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience in a similar healthcare environment is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, effective communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.
Physical Requirements : Medium work involving occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing or walking for 26-50% of the workday.
