  • Healthcare Setting : Surgical / Trauma Unit (36 beds, preferred by top surgeons and trauma specialists)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract\n
  • Start Date : August 18, 2025\n
  • End Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period\n
  • Dress Code : Navy scrubs\n
  • Awards : Multiple DAISY and BEE awards for outstanding nursing care\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $940 - $1010\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg LPN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active LPN or LVN license (Texas or compact state)\n
  • At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience\n
  • BLS certification (required)\n
  • IV Certification (required)\n
  • ACLS and NIH Stroke Certification (preferred)\n
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills\n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical and trauma patients in a fast-paced Med / Surg environment\n
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and other healthcare professionals\n
  • Perform core Med / Surg duties : patient monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and patient education\n
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate clinical documentation\n
  • Support clinical pathways and enhance patient throughput for optimal outcomes\n
  • Participate in patient admissions and discharges, contributing to unit performance\n
