Wire & Design Engineer Level 3

CTS International is seeking a highly skilled Wire & Design Engineer (Level 3) to join our client's team. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex wire harness systems and electrical assemblies used in cutting-edge aerospace and high-tech environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful engineering projects while working with some of the most advanced tools and technologies in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cable / wire harness detail and assembly designs
• Analyze results and perform design reviews
• Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas)
• Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)
• Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
• Develop basic statements of work
• Participate in technical reviews of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection
• Analyze functional and physical input to ensure development of complete integrated designs
• Work under general direction

Education Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
