Lead a multi-craft workforce engaged in daily maintenance activities as to provide a seamless support activity to the production units.
Coaching and mentoring of direct reports to maintain a cohesive team focused on departmental, plant, and corporate goals.
Provides technical expertise in resolving day-to-day complex equipment problems while assisting craftsmen to logically resolve issues.
Establish concepts and perform observations and coaching to ensure that execution of planned work is cost-effective and efficient
Analyze maintenance schedules and execution of the work to minimize errors or delays
Prepares daily / weekly assignments and administers discipline of direct reports as needed.
Position Requirements
Technically competent individual with expertise and experience in at least one maintenance craft field
Minimum of six (6) years of craft experience and three (3) years of technical support experience or an equivalent combination
Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is required, with knowledge about the amount of time required for different scopes of repair on industrial equipment.
Experience in a unionized environment desired
Ability to build and sustain good working relationships and work effectively in a team environment
Must be achievement motivated and have a high energy level
Must have effective planning and organizational skills and effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
