The Ideal candidate would be an Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist that is comfortable working nights.Census : 18-19 patients per PhysicianDay admissions : 9-15Night admissions : 6-10Coverage for days : 4 physicians, 2 NPsCoverage for nights : 1 physician Rapid response team responds to codesProcedures : Preferred but not requiredEMR : CernerBoard Certification / Board Eligibility requiredActive / unrestricted MO License requiredCoverage Needs : 4 shifts a month (possibility of more).Not exclusively nights but the top priority is nights wants someone who is flexible doing both.
