Description :

This position follows the clinical interview process.

Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable.

Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day.

Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may not be eligible for the same processing timeline.

Candidates with negative background or employment history are not eligible for expedited processing.

New graduates will not go through the clinical interview process; they will be presented to the facility for review.

Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders and / or wound care.

Develops appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.

Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.

Assesses patient progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modifying services as needed based on patient evaluation and making referrals as necessary.

Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Effectively communicates with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.

Provides comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided in accordance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Documents all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records per company policy.

Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided in compliance with all regulatory and clinical requirements.

Participates in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings.

Participates in required trainings, in-services, and conferences.

Able to obtain any necessary Durable Medical Equipment or supplies as per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Able to supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.

Adheres to the required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as a Physical Therapist.
