BMT - Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

BMT - Oncology - Required

Shift : Day (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) / Night (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

If you accept a 12D / N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time

No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.

The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend.

Must be flexible.

Block Schedules : No

Must have MS oncology and at least 1 year hematology / oncology experience in work history

Can do 13 weeks, or up to 1 / 17 end date.

Manager preference is to end 1 / 3, 1 / 10 or 1 / 17 to assist with holiday coverage.

Typically can approve max of 1 of 3 major holidays off.

Certification : Chemo (ONS / ONCC)

Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

7 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction : 14 days
