We’re looking for an experienced, hospitality-focused Lead Host to join our front-of-house team at Brasserie Boulder . This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a warm, seamless guest experience while managing the flow and organization of a busy dining room.
About the Role
The Lead Host oversees the host stand and acts as the communication hub between the dining room, kitchen, and management. You’ll manage reservations and pacing through TOCK , anticipate potential issues before they arise, and help maximize our capacity without compromising guest experience.
We’re looking for someone who can see the
big picture — ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly, guests feel cared for, and every service begins and ends on the right note.
Primary Shifts
Friday and Saturday evenings
Sunday brunch
Additional hours can be accommodated for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Warmly greet and seat guests, setting the tone for their visit
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and pacing through TOCK
Identify and prevent reservation or seating conflicts before they occur
Lead and support the host team during service
Maintain awareness of table flow to maximize seating efficiency without overwhelming the kitchen or service team
Provide genuine hospitality touches — open doors for departing guests, assist with seating, and help with water service during daytime shifts
Communicate clearly and professionally with management and staff
Requirements
Prior host or lead host experience in a full-service restaurant
Strong organizational and situational awareness
Calm under pressure, polished, and guest-oriented
Familiarity with TOCK (preferred but not required)
Weekend availability required
