Job Description
Job Description
Are you experienced in logistics but looking for something more dynamic than your current role? This is your opportunity to step into a position where you'll have real responsibility, visibility, and the chance to help build a carrier business from the ground up.
We operate a 16-unit mixed fleet - power units, tank trailers, dry vans, minibulk, and straight trucks - along with supporting equipment like pumps, pallet jacks, and liftgates. We're looking for someone motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow into a role that goes beyond routine dispatching.
What You'll Do :
Coordinate drivers daily - assign routes, communicate load details, and support them while on the road.
Plan and adjust routes to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and meet customer commitments.
Work closely with drivers, sales, and operations to align schedules and ensure trucks are filled and utilized.
Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for trucks, trailers, pumps, pallet jacks, and liftgates.
Maintain compliance by updating logs, inspections, and records in our fleet management system.
Track and report key performance metrics : on-time deliveries, driver compliance, and fleet uptime.
Play an active role in shaping and scaling our growing transportation business.
What Success Looks Like :
95%+ on-time delivery performance
Preventive maintenance completed on schedule with minimal downtime
100% compliance across drivers, vehicles, and equipment
What We're Looking For :
Background in logistics, dispatching, or fleet coordination with a desire to take on broader responsibilities.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and keep things moving.
Someone motivated by growth, accountability, and the opportunity to contribute directly to building a business.
CDL or tanker experience is a plus, but not required.
Why Join Us :
This isn't another back-office logistics job where you're just a number. Here, your decisions matter every day. You'll be part of a tight-knit team that values initiative, rewards results, and offers performance incentives tied to outcomes. And as our fleet expands, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater leadership and shape your own career path within the business.
Benefits :
Performance incentives tied to results
Opportunities for career growth as the fleet expands
Stable, long-standing company with a strong reputation in the chemical industry
Tight-knit team environment where your input matters
Paid time off and holidays
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage
Company-paid life insurance policy
