Shift : 1st Shift Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Position Responsibilities :
Independently execute full cycle recruitment for positions, from sourcing to extending job offers.Maintain confidential / sensitive information and personally identifiable information.Interview, gather, and analyze information skillfully to obtain complete application and pre-qualify applicants.Responsible for reporting and monitoring applicant flow and the applicant onboarding process.Advise management on hiring trends affecting recruiting performance.Implement recruitment tactics that attract new and experienced staff.Knowledge of local, state, and national labor and recruitment trends. Develop short-and long-range plans. Implement best practices for recruitment and retention. Develop effective recruitment plans to fill open positions with scope of responsibility with quality candidates.Actively seek out, screens applicants / resumes. Conduct telephone screens and face-to-face interviews. Recommend top candidates to hiring managers.Effectively negotiate and extend offers for hire. Ensure completion of pre-hire requirements.Attend or coordinate recruitment events. Represent all areas of organization as needed. Proactively initiate and maintain relationships with local professional organizations / associations, educational institutions and other job seekers sources and referring organizations related to recruitment portfolio.Coordinate, set up displays, and make public presentations at schools, community organizations and career fairs regarding CompX as an employer of choice.Write and place job advertising in various media and utilize online recruiting sources to find and recruit candidates.Work closely with management to understand and support recruiting needs, including but not limited to posting job ads, initial application review, phone screen, mass hiring events for project start-ups, projecting future position needs / headcount based on production schedule, and processing employee referrals.Maintain contact and track leads, applicants, and candidates for current and future opportunities.Utilize and maintain HRIS software to maximize recruiting efficiency.Participate and support other duties as assigned.Essential Skills and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.At least 3-5 years of recruiting experience.Ability to demonstrate your ability in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.Recruiting MUST be your PASSION!Demonstrate knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and applicable HR Software.Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload.Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.Must have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with varying levels of the organization.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with change.Experience with MS Office with a focus on Word and Excel.Ability to travel up to 20%.Must have strong internet research skills.Preferred Skills and Experience :
