Our client in Mars PA is seeking a CNC Machinist. Positions will start on 1st Shift time will be 7am-330PM M-F. With the expectation of moving to a 2nd shift position or a 12 hour Friday, Saturday, Sunday Schedule.
Duties :
- Operates machine shop equipment to machine various materials
- following specifications from verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments and selects cutting tools for efficiency and quality.
- Sets up and operates lathes, mills, grinders, and more to perform machining operations.
- Fabricates complex parts with precision and suggests design changes for productivity.
- Works with sheet metal and tubing, using hand and power-driven machines.
- Maintains knowledge of industry, machinery, safety regulations, and provides necessary reports.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
