Physician Associate / Nurse Practitioner (PM&R)

Department Overview

The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The position will work with the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation clinic in support of our Physiatry and Spine Center Program needs for patient care. This position will provide leadership and guidance in the area of outpatient care and clinical support operations and work in partnership with faculty physicians to provide excellent clinical care and customer service in the outpatient setting. This position will work in conjunction with the Department Chairman, Department Administrator and OHSU leadership to provide services to further the University's mission and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service and the Department's / Hospital's goal of providing effective, efficient care.

Function / Duties of Position

The duties of this position include :

• Provide evaluation and patient care to help determine and develop patient care plans or potential surgical needs for patients referred to the Physiatry service line.
• This includes but is not limited to :

Evaluation of acute injuries, chronic pain and referrals as appropriate.
