Join Our Team as a Registered Radiologic Technologist!
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? At the Heart & Vascular Institute, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Radiologic Technologist to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing invasive cardiology and radiology studies, all while working closely with our skilled physicians.

Your Responsibilities
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will :
Administer contrast material as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.Assist with inventory and supplies to keep our operations running smoothly.Verify patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position.Compile essential clinical information for lab and pathology.Document procedures accurately according to established policies.Explain procedures to patients, providing comfort and support throughout.Perform all essential functions of a Radiologic Technologist.Be available for on-call duties and variable shifts as required.Department-Specific Functions
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will :
Maintain a sterile field during procedures.Administer and withhold contrast and treatments as appropriate.Participate in advanced cardiac procedures, including :Cardiac Cath Lab work (e.g., left / right heart cath, pericardiocentesis).Structural Heart Procedures (e.g., TAVR, Watchman, Mitraclip).Hybrid Peripheral Vascular work in coordination with vascular surgery.What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have :
Education : Associate’s Degree in a related field or Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.Licensure / Certification :Registered in Radiography (R) - ARRT.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - IEMA.ACLS certification within 1 year - AHA.Skills :Ability to learn and retain information about patient care and procedures.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail.Compassionate approach to patient interactions.Manual dexterity for handling small supplies.Why Choose Carle Health?

The compensation range for this position is $30.72 - $52.84 per hour . Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience and qualifications.
