Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed to support a full-day 4K self-contained classroom designed for students with disabilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to impact early childhood education in a nurturing, supportive environment for young learners from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Location : Laurens, SC

Duration : August 1st May 30th (School Year)

Schedule : 37.5 hours per week

Grade Level : 4K (Pre-Kindergarten)

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Collaborate closely with two teaching assistants to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth among students with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
• municate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive support for each student.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in pliance with educational standards and regulations.
