FOH Night Shift Lead – Salem's Fresh Eats

Location : 1701 34th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711.

Schedule : Evening / Night Shifts.

Role Summary :

As FOH Night Shift Lead, you’re the face of Salem's during the evening hours, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and friendly experience from arrival to last order. You’ll supervise front-of-house staff, manage nightly operations, and maintain service standards throughout closing.

Key Responsibilities :

FOH Leadership :

  • Direct and support FOH team during dinner and late-night service.
  • Delegate tasks and uphold smooth service flow.
  • Model professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork.

Guest Experience :

  • Engage guests warmly and respond to feedback with confidence.
  • Promote a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere.
  • Resolve concerns quickly and effectively.

    • Operations & Closing :

  • Execute nightly closing duties : cleaning, securing POS, final walkthroughs.
  • Restock and reset FOH stations for the following shift.
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the evening.

    • Team Supervision :

  • Coach and mentor FOH staff during the shift.
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback.
  • Manage shift coverage and assist with minor staffing needs.

    • Cash Handling :

  • Reconcile registers and ensure accuracy at closing.
  • Uphold proper tip reporting and POS procedures.

    • Shift Reporting :

  • Document shift notes, guest feedback, sales, and incidents.
  • Communicate key updates to management.

    • Qualifications :

  • Experience in hospitality or food service, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety and POS systems.
