GPS is hiring Q.C. Lab Technicians for immediate positions in Columbia, SC.

What You Will Do :

Conduct chemical experiments and tests using techniques like gas chromatography and spectroscopy.

Prepare chemical solutions and analyze solids, liquids, and gases for compliance.

Monitor product quality and processing to meet standards.

Maintain and clean lab equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.

Assist with plant raw material handling and maintain inventory.

Inspect and prepare samples for shipment, following regulatory requirements.

Record, compile, and interpret test results.

What Is Needed :

Education :

Minimum : High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred : Associate's Degree in a related field

Experience :

Minimum : 1 year in a related role.

Preferred : 3+ years in a similar position.

Skills :

Basic written and verbal communication.

Strong math skills and knowledge of wet lab chemistry.

Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.

Safety First Attitude :

Follow all safety protocols, including wearing proper protective equipment.

Maintain a clean workspace and report any unsafe conditions.

Drug-free workplace and criminal background check required.
