Location : Sonoma, CA

Pay Rate : $25 – $30 per hour (DOE)

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m.

Reports To : HR Manager / General Manager

About the Opportunity

Balance Staffing is seeking an experienced and bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support one of our client partners located in Sonoma, CA . This position plays a key role in supporting the HR department’s daily operations, including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and fluent in both English and Spanish.

Position Summary

Under the direction of management, the HR Generalist performs a variety of HR functions in support of the company’s workforce. This includes handling recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee relations while ensuring all practices align with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting : job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Administer and track employee benefits, leaves of absence, and other HR programs.
• Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy in timekeeping (Balance Timekeeping system).
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary documentation.
• Maintain HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
