Unit Summary – Mother Baby / Pediatrics\n\nBeds : 5 GYN / Peds, 11 Mother Baby\n\nCerts : BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS\n\nRatios : 1 : 4 (Couplets & Peds / GYN)\n\nEMR : Cerner\n\nCharge Nurse : Yes, no assignment\n\nNurse Aides : None\n\nShifts : 12 hrs; EOW; holidays per rotation\n\nScrubs : Navy Blue\n\nTele : Pediatric only\n\nVents : No\n\nSupport : OB / GYN in-house, IV team (day), RT & Pharmacy 24 / 7\n\nFloat : To Pediatrics\n\nOrientation : 3 shifts\n\nPatient Types : Vag / C-section, antepartum, hysterectomy, GYN, Peds (asthma, appy, fever, fractures)\n\nNotes : Locked, baby-friendly unit. Peds & Mother Baby preferred; Mother Baby only acceptable.
