Location : Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Pay Range : $80.00 to $85.00 Per Hour

Job Summary :

A leading FAANG company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the BuilderWorks team within the eCommerce Foundation organization. This role involves building scalable data engineering solutions, developing new infrastructure, and collaborating closely with BI and Data Science teams. The successful candidate will drive innovation and make significant contributions to large-scale projects affecting multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and build scalable and efficient data engineering solutions.
  • Develop new data infrastructure and maintain existing systems to meet business needs.
  • Identify data sources, and develop and manage data pipelines for analytics and machine learning.
  • Collaborate with BI and Data Science teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Engage with tech and business leaders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Must-Have Skills :

  • 10+ years of Industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in a company with large, complex data sources.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience in building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience working with AWS big data technologies (EMR, Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis and Lambda).
