Testing Required
On-Site Role : Must be available to work on-site at this assigned work location.
Emergency Response : Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.
Job Summary
Responsible for facilitating alignment and providing governance over all aspects of initial and / or continuing training, including the operations examination process. Ensures training programs comply with company standards, NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and other codes and standards. Interfaces with the line organization and training committees to coordinate, plan, and control training activities. Evaluates training program performance and provides input to the budget, continuously seeking methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Implements Human Performance and Corrective Action programs for Nuclear Training. Provides guidance and work direction to instructors and students.
Key Accountabilities
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent GED and eight years of Nuclear power plant experience, including four years in Nuclear Accredited Training OR an associate degree with six years of experience, including three in training programs OR a bachelor's degree with four years of industry experience, including two in systematic training processes.
Experience must be in Nuclear Operations Accredited Training with licensed operator training programs. Must hold or have held a Senior Reactor Operator License or Certification at Fermi or similar facility.
