Your Job Summary
We are Searching for a talented and committed Registered Dietitian to provide services to skilled nursing centers in the area. The ideal candidate will complete assessments, nutrition intervention, monitoring and evaluation utilizing the nutrition care process and evidenced base care guidelines. Rounds with nursing to make recommendations for nutrition care. Formulates menus for therapeutic diets based on medical and physical condition of patients and integrates patients menus with basic institutional menus as needed. Instructs patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection and preparation during rounding. Conducts test tray audits of patient meals to assess quality. Documents patient rounds and maintains high patient satisfaction ratings. Survey management. Will make site visits as scheduled and as needed to facilities in area to complete Clinical Nutrition Assessment as required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct nutritional assessments for new admits, significant weight changes, pressure injuries, dialysis, and calculate TPN and enteral nutrition for residents in long-term care.
- Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations, corporate guidelines, and Crandall Systems.
- Nutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance
- Implementation of the plan of corrections
- Help prepare community for state survey
- Conduct nutritional assessments for new admits, quarterly assessments, annual assessment, significant weight changes, pressure injuries, dialysis, and calculate TPN and enteral nutrition for residents in long-term care.
- Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations, corporate guidelines.
- Clinical Charting (if required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk charting.

Must be a Registered Dietitian, Bachelors Degree, skilled nursing, acute care or a combination of experience will be consideredFood handler permitMust maintain current licensure as required by lawMinimum of one + years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facilityAny combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally.Ability to keep sensitive information / data confidential under HIPAA guidelinesState License as required by StateMaintain current licensure as required by State lawCOVID-19 Vaccination or medical / religious exemption per state / corporation guidelinesCurrent TB Test
