Unit Manager

Family of Caring at Tenafly, a respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a compassionate and organized Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit to ensure the highest level of resident care.

Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs, providing guidance and leadership.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care plans.

Monitor documentation, charting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Participate in staff education, quality assurance, and survey preparation.

Promote a positive, team-based culture focused on compassion and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Jersey (required).

Prior experience as a Unit Manager, ADON, or Nursing Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.

Commitment to resident-centered care and staff development.
