Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for tenants, guests, and property staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, supporting a caring and innovative team that values reliability, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting tenants, visitors, and property management as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and team members to support a secure environment at the location.Observe and report any maintenance or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials and monitoring ingress and egress at designated points.What We're Looking For :

Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
