Field Service Manager : Commercial Laundry Equipment
Location : Miami, FL
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Manager to join our Commercial Laundry Equipment team. This position is based out of Miami, Florida , with regular travel to customer sites across the U.S. The successful candidate will complete approximately six months of comprehensive training before taking full responsibility for the role.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Develop extensive knowledge and understanding of our commercial laundry equipment
- Provide technical and commercial training to distributors and technicians
- Train client technicians on how to service and repair commercial laundry equipment
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance over the phone to help technicians resolve field issues efficiently
- Travel to installations, troubleshoot major issues, and support distributors as needed
- Provide detailed feedback to factories regarding product performance, failures, and recommendations for improvement
- Maintain consistent communication with factories and technicians regarding updates and modifications to equipment
- Update and improve service documentation and manuals for training and technical support purposes
- Perform on-site repairs alongside technicians when necessary
- Manage warranty service and parts claims; maintain accurate reports and indicators
- Identify and onboard new distributors in unrepresented territories to expand product reach across OPL, Coin, and Route applications
- Grow sales, develop relationships, and maximize business opportunities within assigned territories
- Identify and communicate new business opportunities in the OPL, Coin-up, and Route markets
- Participate in trade shows, sales seminars, and contribute to the establishment of annual goals and marketing strategies
Requirements :
3+ years of experience in a technical service position, preferably in a leadership role such as a Service Manager related to commercial laundry equipmentStrong supervisory, communication, computer, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalAbove-average customer service and troubleshooting abilitiesBasic knowledge of gas, plumbing, and electrical systemsBilingual preferred (English as primary, Spanish as secondary language)Ability to travel up to 60%Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsBenefits :
