Description : POSITION OVERVIEW

The Fleet and Yard Manager is responsible for planning, managing and maintaining all company vehicles, landscaping equipment, tools, and yard inventory. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, accurate inventory tracking, and efficient yard operations to support our field crews and business objectives

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Fleet Management

• Maintain and manage company vehicle fleet, including trucks, trailers, and specialty vehicles
• Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance, VSI inspections, and repairs with approved vendors
• Strengthen and build relationships with mechanics, service providers, and vendors
• Maintain all vehicles to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements;
• Coordinate and verify fleet washes are scheduled / performed on bi-weekly basis
• Ensure all vehicles, trailers, and equipment are labeled with proper signage
• Prepare all new assets for service following checklist\
• Prepare / dispose of retired assets
• Ensure Aspire equipment module is always up to date with assets

This position requires that the individual to have the following certifications :

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is primarily based at our yard facility with work conducted both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The role requires physical activity including walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM with weekend availability required during peak season.
