Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in South Portland, ME. This contract role will begin in mid to late August and offers the opportunity to support a caseload of kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services to help students achieve their communication goals. Tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans to meet student needs will be essential.
